Julies encounter with pottery 10 years ago changed her life. She discovered her own hands & heart have a natural bonding with clay. Julie makes her own glaze and creates many lovely & minimalist housewares. She was the first artisan to arrive under the old town initiative and her atelier/shop is set a bit apart from the others but is easy to find as you walk from the old bridge towards the old town with the wooden stairway through the gardens up the falaise on the left end the Rue Margontier to the left. Her mastery of the potters wheel produce practical yet tasteful works. Her mastery of the English language allows for explanation and participation in her introduction (and advanced) workshops on request (though you should allow a few days for the firing).
